On June 9, 2022, at approximately 3 pm, Deputies were dispatched to 20395 Hayes Road, Welsh, in reference to an unknown white male attempting to steal from the property of Riceland Construction.

An employee working at the site took a photo of the vehicle as he was leaving. Deputies were able to identify the vehicle and subject. 

Arrest warrants were obtained for Shane Dale Dugas, 50 of 18159 TV tower road, Kinder.  Dugas was charged with two counts of simple burglary, and two counts of theft.
