On Friday, June 3, 2022, Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Pecan Orchard Road and Compton Road, Jennings, in reference to an abandoned vehicle. 

While on the scene, deputies received information from the persons on scene and were advised that one individual had outstanding warrants. That individual had left the scene when deputies were notified. 

Deputies located Derrius Dionte Gradney at Peto's truck stop.  Gradney, 28, of 515 Zigler street, Jennings was arrested and booked into the parish jail for possession of CDS II, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction of justice, and three outstanding warrants for contempt of court, theft, and criminal damage to property.
