On May 15, 2022, at 3:00 am Deputies were dispatched to 10363 Seward Lane, Elton, Louisiana, in reference to a Domestic Disturbance.

Upon arrival deputies observed a busted lip, red marks on her neck and a bruised eye on the complainant.  The complainant reported her husband had started argument when they arrived home from the bar. 

Billy Wayne Pears , 32, was arrested and booked into the parish jail for domestic abuse battery with strangulation.
