On Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 11:00 am deputies patrolling the area of Farm Supply and Dave Williams Road observed a vehicle run stop sign at intersection of Dave Williams Road and Farm Supply Road.

The vehicle then sped away fishtailing in the roadway and driving erratically.  Deputies stopped the vehicle on Koll road.  As deputies approached the vehicle they smelled a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle.

Deputies spoke to the driver, Zachary Guy Crochet, 25, of 2224 Babineaux road, Jennings.  Crochet advised deputies he had no driver's license due to it being suspended.  Crochet also admitted to possession of the marijuana. 

Crochet was transported and booked into the parish jail for possession of CDS I marijuana, stop signs and signals, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of CDS with firearm, carless operation and driving under suspension.
