On Friday November 26, 2021, at 8:00 pm deputies were dispatched to 20211 Pine Hill Cemetery Road, Iowa, Louisiana, in reference to a Domestic Disturbance. 

When deputies arrived they found one male sitting in his truck outside. The male said he and his wife got into an altercation and deputies observed a swollen busted lip on the male. 

Deputies spoke to wife and she advised that her husband threw a stool at her. 

Both Stacy Davis Matthews, 52 and Carl Dwight Matthews, 65, of 20211 Pine Hill Cemetery road, Iowa were arrested and booked for domestic abuse batter with child endangerment.  The couple had grandchildren in the residence at the time of the altercation.
