On November 16, 2021, at 10:00 pm deputies were dispatched to 8072 Highway 90 Roanoke, Louisiana in reference to a verbal altercation in progress. 

When deputies arrived they discovered that the altercation was between father and son, and a firearm was involved. 

Cecil Paul Manel III, 20, was arrested and booked into the parish jail for domestic abuse battery and aggravated assault with a firearm.
