Domestic call leads to arrest

11/12/2021

On November 10 2021, at 10 pm deputies responded to 505  Main Street, Lacassine, Louisiana, in reference to an intoxicated female causing a disturbance at that location.

While responding, dispatchers advised deputies, the female was walking away from the location toward railroad tracks.  Deputies located Karmyn Diane Alexander, 21, of 2701 Enterprise Blvd., Lake Charles sitting on the railroad tracks screaming. As deputies drove up Alexander started beating on the hood of the unit and yelling for the deputies to kill her. Deputies noticed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her.

Further investigation revealed she had an argument with boyfriend and scratched, hit and spit on him before leaving the residence.  The victim reported the argument started over Karmyn wanting to drive a vehicle to the store.

Alexander was arrested and transported to the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail where she was booked in for LARS 14:34.9, Battery of a Dating Partner and LARS 14: 103.A.3, Disturbing the Peace by Intoxication.
