On Wednesday, July 21, 2021, Deputies responded to 15125 Highway 395 (Peto's Truck Stop Casino) in reference to a male armed with a knife arguing with casino security. 

As deputies arrived in the parking lot they observed the male running with a large fixed blade knife in his hand.  The male attempted to hide in the grassy are on the south side of the truck stop. 

Deputies located and arrested the male, identified as Luke Freeman, 40, of 207 W. Spencer street, Jennings.  Freeman was booked into the parish jail for entry or remaining on premises, obstruction of justice possession of CDS III, bringing contraband into penal facility, resisting an officer and illegal carry of weapons.
