On Tuesday, May 25, 2021, Deputies were dispatched to 27220 Highway 383 Kinder, Louisiana, in reference to gunshots in the area.

When deputies arrived they spoke with the complainant, Christopher Brandon Phillips.  Deputies searched the area and found no one and heard no gunshots. 

During the investigation deputies learned that Phillips was wanted on outstanding warrants.  The felony arrest warrants stemmed from Domestic abuse violence by Christopher against his wife that occurred on numerous dates from January thru May 2021. 

Christopher Brandon Phillips, 33, was booked on charges Domestic abuse violence with child endangerment, 5 counts domestic abuse battery, 2 counts Aggravated assault with a firearm. Phillips is held without bond.
