Deputies also responded around 10:00 am on Monday Feb. 8th to a theft call at 16204 N. Gallaugher road. 

Deputies spoke with complainant who advised owner of property recently passed away and a relative was seen taking tools, a lawn mower and utility trailer. 

Deputies were notified that Jennings Police had the vehicle and suspect stopped and charged with unrelated offenses.

Brennon Kade Crochet, 33, of 16158 N. Gallaugher road, Jennings was arrested by deputies for simple burglary, theft over $1,000 and simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. 

Crochet was also booked on two contempt of court warrants and a disturbing the peace by intoxication charge from Jennings Police.  Crochet is held with no bond in the parish jail.
