Early Thursday morning, February 4, 2021, deputies responded to a burglary call located at 29398 highway 26. The complainants reported the suspect was identified as Stefan Zaunbrecher, a relative. 

The complainant reported they observed Stafen Zaunbrecher at the residence and he was armed.

A short time later, deputies were advised that Elton police had Zaunbrecher detained on Main street in Elton.  

Deputies placed Zaunbrecher under arrest and transported him to the Jefferson Davis Parish jail.  Stefan Zaunbrecher, 28, of 4037 Egan hwy, Egan, was charged with simple burglary and violation of protective order.
