On Monday, November 9, 2020, Deputies were dispatched to 2394 Legros Road, Jennings, for a disturbance. 

Deputies spoke with a 61 year old victim and discovered that he had been struck with a flashlight by his daughter.  Deputies observed a wound the victim incurred and placed the suspect under arrest.    

Candice Belle Kopnicky 32, of 2394 Legros road was charged with Domestic abuse battery and transported to the parish jail.  Kopnicky is held pending bond.
