On Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 1926 hours, Jefferson Davis Sheriff's office was dispatched to 15224 Highway 102 Jennings, Louisiana, 70546 for a disturbance.

Deputies arrived and spoke with the complainant, who advised his son was threatening him. 

James Dean Smith, 47, of 15224 Hwy 102, Jennings was arrested and booked for simple assault, possession of CDS II, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Smith had drugs on his person when deputies searched him upon arrest.
