On Sunday, July 19, 2020, Deputies located and arrested Matthew James Alexander, 39, of 1437 Theo rd., Jennings for violation of protective order. 

The complainant reported that Alexander was stopping in front of the residence she resides at and photographing or videotaping her and shouting at her. 

Alexander was located in Acadia parish near the intersection of Highway 97 and Gator Road.  Alexander was stopped by Acadia Parish Sheriff's office and placed under arrest. 

Alexander was transported to the Acadia Parish Jail for booking and then turned over to the custody of Jeff Davis Sheriff's deputies for booking in Jeff Davis Parish.
