On February 11, 2020 deputies received a complaint of a car burglary at the Exxon station on Elton drive, Jennings. The complainant reported her purse taken while she was putting fuel and air in a tire at the station. 

The suspect vehicle was reported as a blue and white Chevrolet SUV.  Deputies located the vehicle  at 1424 West Division street.  During the investigation deputies observed a female identified as Charming Istre remove items from her shirt and toss them into the ditch. The items recovered were a glass smoking pipe and a clear bag with suspected methamphetamine. 

Deputies found items inside the vehicle that were stolen from the complainant's purse.

Charming Nicole Istre,29, of 36722 Veteran's memorial drive, Gueydan was arrested and booked for Theft, Obstruction of justice, Possession of CDS II, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mason John Adams,34,of 610 Kellogg avenue, Lake Arthur was arrested and booked for Simple Burglary, Theft, Obstruction of justice, Possession of stolen things.
