On January 14, 2020 deputies were called to a residence on Koll road, North of Jennings to a burglary.  The victim reported a Kubota tractor and utility trailer stolen from the residence. 

Detectives working the investigation obtained a warrant for the arrest of Tyler Oblanc, 25, of 930 Florence street, Jennings on January 23rd.  Oblanc was charged with simple burglary and felony theft.

On January 24, Oblanc was arrested in Acadia during the night and transported to Jeff Davis that day. Oblanc admitted to authorities that he stole the tractor and utility trailer but had to abandon it when it ran out of diesel fuel.
