On Saturday October 26 deputies made a traffic stop that lead to arrest for drug possession.  At approximately 5am a driver made an illegal turn and was stopped at the Vallero station. 

The driver was wanted on outstanding warrant for Contempt of court.  Deputies obtained a consent to search and the search revealed drug paraphernalia, suspected cocaine and heroin. 

Kaylyn Mariah Poncho, 20, of 877 Highway 26, Elton was booked into the parish jail for Improper turning, possession of CDS I heroin, possession of CDS II cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt of court warrant.
