Wednesday night August 14th around 9 pm deputies were dispatched to Hwy 14 and Jenus road on a disturbance call. 

Deputies located the complainant outside of the residence.  She advised she and her husband had begun arguing and he pushed her and scratched her arms up. 

When deputies spoke to the husband he stated his wife had punched him.  The complainant’s mother was inside the home with the three children when the altercation occurred. 

Dustin Wayne Sonnier, 26, of 8732 Hwy 14, Lake Arthur and Rebecca Lynn Sonnier, 32, of 8732 Hwy 14, Lake Arthur were both arrested and booked for domestic abuse violence with child endangerment.
