On Monday August 12, Deputies were called to 16013 Hwy 26, Jennings in reference to unauthorized use of a movable. 

Deputies were advised the victim had loaned his vehicle to his son in January and the son refused to return it.  The son, David Keith Welch Jr arrived at the residence demanding money for gas and an argument turned physical.  Welch left the location when deputies were called but returned. 

Deputies were able to locate Welch hiding in behind a barn on the property.  David Keith Welch Jr. , 36, of 201 Toby Loop, Eunice, was arrested for unauthorized use of a movable, simple battery and aggravated assault.  Welch is held in the parish jail with no bond.
