On July 20, 2019, Deputies were dispatched to 15125 Hwy 395 Roanoke, LA at Peto’s truck stop in reference to a female reporting she was beaten by her boyfriend. 

Deputies transported the victim to meet with relatives. The subject was located by deputies on I-10 westbound at mp# 44. 

Deputies arrested Marlon Dwan Julian, 48, of 2000 Briar trail, Lake Charles for domestic abuse battery with strangulation, possession of CDS I ,driving under suspension, switched plates and no insurance.

The vehicle was impounded and Julian is held in the parish jail with no bond.
