Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s detectives arrested an individual, Wednesday March 21st on 1 count of Illegal possession of stolen things.  Detectives investigating the theft of lawn equipment traveled to a residence at 6415 Hwy 1126 Jennings, LA on February 19th, 2018.  Detectives recovered a Stihl trimmer and an Xmark zero turn mower that were reported stolen.

The information received by detectives was Robinson placed the stolen items in the barn on Hwy 1126 at his girlfriend’s residence to hide them. A warrant for the suspect was obtained on February 22, 2018 for Vaughn Dell Robinson, 40, of 504 Commercial Street, Lake Arthur, LA for Illegal possession of stolen things with no bond.  Robinson was booked into the parish jail yesterday evening.

Robinson was out of jail on two previous arrests, an August 15, 2015 arrest on drug charges by Lake Arthur Police and the arrest on March 8, 2015 by Jeff Davis Sheriff’s detectives for the Murder of Charles Raymond Talen in Lake Arthur.
