Railroad trespassers arrested

Jeff Davis Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call from BNSF train employees yesterday evening. The Train employees reported that there were four individuals trespassing on the railroad tracks and holding up the train from moving on the tracks near Hwy 395 in Roanoke. When deputies arrived they discover three male subjects and one female trespassing on railroad property.  Two of the male subjects and the female cooperated with deputies and voluntarily provided identification and followed instructions, they were cited for simple obstruction of highway and released on citations.  They were Angel Lee Vaughn, 26, of 1344 South Main st.  Lexington, TN, Ronald Joseph Hasselbeck, 48, of 704 West South street, Opelousas, LA, and Robert Lee Maxwell, 42, of 103 Courtland street, Dowagiac, MI. The fourth subject, Moses Owen Hudon, 33, of 39 Boylston, Boston, MA refused to cooperate with deputies at the train. Hudon fought with deputies and had to be carried to the sheriff’s unit by deputies while he threatened them.  Hudon was charged with simple obstruction of highway, resisting arrest, and public intimidation and retaliation.  Hudon was provided a place to stay by deputies.  He was booked into the parish jail yesterday evening with no bond.
