 Todd boudreaux.jpg On August 12, 2015, patrol deputies were involved in a pursuit of a vehicle through Jefferson Davis Parish and into Acadia parish. The pursuit began on Hwy 102 near Ponderosa road as a deputy approached the stopped Volkswagen Jetta. The driver, a white male with blonde hair sped away as the deputy approached the vehicle.  It continued at speeds over 100 mph through the city of Jennings and North on Hwy 97 toward Evangeline in Acadia parish. Acadia parish deputies responded and located the vehicle when they received a call of a suspicious vehicle in the area.  Jefferson Davis Parish deputies were called back to the Evangeline area and identified the vehicle as the suspect vehicle pursued earlier.   Todd Vernon Boudreaux, 35, of 910 Humphrey Street, Jennings was identified by deputies as the driver of the speeding vehicle. Today detectives met with Boudreaux, the registered owner of the grey Volkswagen Jetta, who was charged with Aggravated flight from an officer, Speeding, Reckless operation of a vehicle and running stop signs.  Boudreaux was booked into parish jail with no bond.
