Home Invasion Arrest

On Sunday August 24th, 2014 Jefferson Davis Sheriff's deputies responded to a complaint call at 10218 Martin Rd. Roanoke,  in reference to an alleged home invasion that occurred on the morning of August 22nd 2014 on Cleophia Rd. in Jennings, La. The victim advised Sebastion Hanks, 21, of 3288 Cleophia Rd. Lot B forcefully made his way into the victim's residence by kicking the door in and physically assaulted the victim in front of the victim's two children who were present in the residence.  The victim sustained injuries to the head and back as a result of the assault.  Jefferson Davis Sheriff's deputies were able to obtain an arrest warrant, signed by the 31st Judicial Court Judge Steve Gunnell on charges of 2 counts of home invasion, simple battery, aggravated battery, simple criminal damage to property, aggravated assault, and intimidation of a witness. Hanks was located and arrested without incident and booked into parish jail.
