On Friday, May 5, 2023, Deputies were dispatched to 21286 Highway 26, Jennings, in reference to a theft in progress. When deputies arrived at the store, the manager pointed out the individuals.  The suspects were identified as Robert Linscombe, Kayla Crochet, and Halie Santiago.

The list of the items stolen that were recovered by deputies consisted of a pillowcase, eyelashes, two(2) rolls electric tape, Gorilla Glue, Mascara, Eyeliner, and Car Air freshener.

During the investigation deputies discovered drug paraphernalia and controlled substances in their possession. 

Robert Oran Linscombe, 28, of 3006 Grand Marais road, Jennings was transported to the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail. and was booked into Jail for warrants and Theft of Goods, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug paraphernalia.

Halie Santiago, 24, of 7051 Grand Marais road, Jennings was transported to the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail and booked for a warrant, Possession of Schedule II with intent to Distribute, Possession of Schedule IV with intent to Distribute, Possession of a Legend Drug, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Kayla Dawn Crochet, 27, of 3006 Grand Marais road, Jennings was transported to the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office and issued a misdemeanor summons for Theft of Goods, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Crochet was released on a summons.
