On Wednesday, March 15, 2023, Deputies responded to 924 West Plaquemine Street, Jennings, to attempt to serve a warrant on Daniel Rister.

Rister, 30, of 704 Howard Street, Jennings was wanted for Possession of CDS II, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Schedule IV, and Possession of Legend Drug. 

Deputies obtained consent to search the residence by the owner and successfully located Rister in a bedroom.  Rister was hiding under the bed and refused to exit.  

Deputies were able to retrieve Rister from under the bed and make an arrest.  Rister was transported and booked into the parish jail.
