On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, Deputies were dispatched to 3304 North Frontage Road Lot 27 in Jennings, Louisiana, in reference to a violation of a court order.

The complainant reported he has an active protective order against his ex-wife Mia Paige Crochet, 32 yoa,  and she had contacted him earlier in the day. The complainant provided screen shots of text messages from Mia from 03/01/2023, and Mia had contacted his mother to contact him.

Deputies proceeded to 558 South Joseph Street in Welsh, Louisiana, to speak with Mia. Deputies located her and she was placed under arrest for violation of protective order. 

The protective order was issued in May 2022 , after an incident of domestic violence between the complainant and Crochet.
