On February 17, 2022, Deputies were dispatched to Highway 26 and Clara Street, Jennings, Louisiana, in reference to a disturbance.

The disturbance originated at 2795 A and J Road, Jennings, Louisiana. The complainant was a cab driver that had been hired to transport a female passenger from the residence. 

While traveling to their destination a truck driven by Christopher Michael Trahan, 30 of 2795 A&J road, Jennings tried to stop the cab. Deputies discovered the two individuals had been in a physical argument at a residence and it had continued to the new location with the cab driver.

Megan Nicole Daigle, 31, of 7157 Park Road, Morgan City was arrested and booked into the parish jail for Battery of a dating partner.  Christopher Michael Trahan was also arrested and booked for Battery of a dating partner.  Daigle was released on citation.
