On February 28, 2020 Deputies assisted Lake Arthur Police with an arrest warrant for Vaughn Robinson at 6415 Hwy 1126, Jennings.  During the arrest deputies detected an odor of marijuana in the residence. A consent to search was obtained from the owner, Dawn Fontenot.

During the search deputies discovered marijuana and pills in the residence.  Also drugs were found in the owner's vehicle parked at the residence. Cocaine and marijuana were found in the vehicle. 

Dawn Lynn Fontenot, 38, was arrested on charges of possession of CDS I marijuana, possession of CDS II Oxycodone, possession of CDS II with intent to distribute, drug paraphernalia, and possession of firearm with CDS. 

Vaughn Dell Robinson, 42, of 407 Calcasieu Avenue, Lake Arthur was arrested and charged with Lake Arthur warrant 7401, possession of marijuana over 14 grams, possession of CDS II possession of CDS II with intent to distribute, drug paraphernalia, and possession of firearm with CDS.
