Jeff Davis Sheriff’s office responded to a complaint call of a disturbance on Compton road, Roanoke, LA last night around 7:30 pm. A neighbor called in when they were approached by a female victim that appeared to have been beaten and dragged through the mud. Deputies located the suspect at his parents residence and arrested him. 

Gregory Scott Bonnette, 30, of 17180 Compton road, Roanoke was booked on 2nd degree battery, Possession of CDS 1 marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession of stolen things, possession of Legend Drug and Theft.  

Deputies discovered Bonnette had several stolen street signs and road barricades along with the drugs found in his shed.  Bonnette was also charged with two outstanding warrants for contempt of court with a total bond of $35,000.00
