Jeff Davis Sheriff’s deputies made an arrest today at 11:00 am on a registered sex offender that was found to have violated the mandatory requirements to identify the offenders residency.  Kevin Scott Marcantel, 31,  had reported that he was living at a residence located at 2204 Ponderosa, Jennings. Deputies discovered he wasn’t living there and was actually staying at a residence in Welsh. Marcantel, was booked for Failure to register and notify as a sex offender or child predator in accordance with LSA R.S. 15:542.1.4
