Deputies serve warrants on drug house

On August 22nd, 2014 Jefferson Davis Parish deputies executed a search warrant at 5760 Andrus Cove Cemetery Rd. The search warrant was a result of a month long investigation that was initiated by concerned citizens on drug activity believed to be occurring at the residence. Upon execution of the search warrant, Misty Guidry, 36, of 615 New Orleans St. Lake Arthur, La. and Travis Hebert, 37, of 303 South First St. Gueydan, La. were present at the residence. During the search of the residence, methamphetamine, pills, and drug paraphernalia were found inside vehicles located at the residence and items were found inside the residence. Both Guidry and Hebert were arrested following the search. Cody Moore, 28, who resides at 5760 Andrus Cove Cemetery Road was not there, but was later located nearby and arrested. A subsequent search was also conducted at 615 New Orleans St. in Lake Arthur, La. based on information obtained during the investigation. The search uncovered additional drug paraphernalia and a possible stolen firearm was found. Misty Guidry was arrested and booked on charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession on Oxycodone. Travis Hebert was arrested and booked on a charge of Possession of a Legend Drug. Cody Moore was arrested and booked on a charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and a outstanding warrant by LA Probation and Parole. All subjects were booked in the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail. The investigation is continuing and additional arrests are expected.
