On Wednesday February 21, 2024, Deputies were dispatched to Courville road, Welsh to investigate a theft. 

The complainant reported a car battery taken from his vehicle in the garage of his residence while they were away for the weekend.  On February 24, 2024, another residence on Courville road was reported to have been burglarized. 

The two complainants had items stolen and damage to the residences.  Detectives obtained an arrest warrant and on March 14, 2024,

Detectives arrested Nathan Scott Flemmons, 26, of 12505 Arceneaux road, Welsh for 2 counts simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, 1 count of burglary of vehicle, 2 counts of simple criminal damage to property.
