On Thursday, February 29, 2024, an arrest warrant was obtained by Jefferson Davis Sheriff deputies assigned to the sex offender watch. 

Mason Kain Kessinger, 29, of 1210 Kimberly drive, Jennings was booked into the parish jail for failure to register as a sex offender.

Deputies were alerted in January that Kessinger was residing at a residence in Jennings.  He had registered with Cameron Parish Sheriff office and listed an address in Gueydan. 

Deputies checked the Cameron parish residence numerous times in January and had no contact with Kessinger. 

Kessinger was located by deputies at the Kimberly drive address and Kessinger admitted to staying there for the past month, in violation of the registered sex offender mandates.
